Lower Saucon Township Police are searching for the owner of a six- or seven-year-old mixed breed dog found on Sherbrooke Drive off Mountain Drive South in the Woodfields development Sunday.

In a post on the department’s Facebook page, police said the male dog “appears to not have been lost for a very long period of time as he is in good condition.”

The dog is medium-sized, black with a white belly, and was wearing a tan collar but no tags when he was found.

Police are asking anyone with information about the dog to call the Northampton County Non-Emergency phone number, 610-759-2200, and to share their Facebook post with photos of the dog.
