Marion M. (Posh) Ganssle, 88, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill.

Marion M. (Posh) Ganssle, 88, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Eldon C. Ganssle. Marion was born in Bethlehem on Feb. 6, 1928 to the late James and Mary (Dravetz) Posh. She was a homemaker the majority of her life but in earlier years she was a seamstress at various textile facilities. Marion was a faithful member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus RC Church, Hellertown, a choir member and a volunteer at the church breakfasts and dinners.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband of 67 years; daughter: Bonnie L. Fiala of Bethlehem; siblings: Edward, Helen Brady, Alice Schmidt, Mary Jane Pfeiffer; grandchildren: Michele Fiala and Rachel Ganssle. She was predeceased by sons: Eldon, Joseph; and siblings: James Posh, Elizabeth Kilpatrick, Dorothy Posh.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown, PA 18055.
