Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a reported burglary in the 2000 block of Easton Road in which they say documents were taken from a basement filing cabinet.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said that although the resident of the home discovered damage to weather-stripping, a door knob and door jamb on her back door on the evening of Jan. 30, she didn’t notice that the documents were missing until Feb. 14. She subsequently reported the theft to police Feb. 17, according to the news release.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
