Penn State Lehigh Valley is hosting a one-day food drive on Wednesday, April 6 where members of the local community are invited to join students, faculty, staff and alumni as they try to ā€œFill the Truckā€ with food donations benefiting Betty Lou’s Food Pantry of Coopersburg.

This event is open to the public and the first 200 donors will receive a free recyclable bag. Donations will also be accepted all day at the Penn State Lehigh Valley building entrance.

ā€œWe are excited for our campus community to work alongside the local community to help stock Betty Lou’s Food Pantry at a time of year when donations can run low,ā€ said Liz Keptner, event organizer and director of Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Multimedia Innovation Center. ā€œThank you in advance to everyone who comes out to help us ā€˜Fill the Truck’ on April 6!ā€
