Smoke from a house fire in the 2200 block of Forest Drive in Upper Saucon Township was visible from as far away as north Hellertown Wednesday morning.

Black smoke from a house fire in the 2200 block of Forest Drive in Upper Saucon Township was visible from as far away as north Hellertown Wednesday morning.

Lehigh Valley Breaking News reported that the fire was escalated to two alarms shortly after 10 a.m.

Newsworking reported that the occupants of the home were able to make it out safely, and Lehigh Valley Live reported that Se-Wy-Co Fire Company of Lower Saucon Township was called to help battle the blaze, along with tankers from upper Bucks County.
