Several teens and an adult man were charged with disorderly conduct after Lower Saucon Township Police say they threw produce and eggs at the home of a Saucon Valley classmate on the evening of April 5.
Their alleged caper was undone, however, by the fact that they also discarded the receipt for some of the items they purchased from a local supermarket onto the lawn of the home they targeted, according to authorities.
The group–which allegedly included two 16-year-old boys, one 15-year-old boy and Quinn Cosgrove, of the 2000 block of Pleasant Drive, Lower Saucon Township–was apprehended after the victim of the egging/fruiting provided officers with a time-stamped receipt from a local Giant supermarket, which police said was used in conjunction with store surveillance footage to ID the suspects making a purchase.
“The victim…was able to identify the males as fellow students from the Saucon Valley School District,” police said.
