Wassergass Woman Attacked by Rabid Cat, Police Say

A woman in Wassergass was attacked by a small white cat that later tested positive for rabies at North Saucon Animal Hospital, Lower Saucon Township police said in a Facebook post Wednesday.

A woman in Wassergass was attacked by a small white cat that later tested positive for rabies at North Saucon Animal Hospital, Lower Saucon Township police said in a Facebook post Wednesday.

According to police, the attack happened April 22 in the 2500 block of Wassergass Road.

Police said the cat was a stray that was captured by officers.

Anyone who thinks they may have come in contact with it is asked to call police at 610-317-6110.
