Are you into those handsome, fluffy, flirty, smarty pants type of pooches? If so, I just might be the guy for you. My name is Oby. I am an adult male shepherd/cattle dog (possibly mixed with some corgi).

I know you’ve heard it before, but let me tell you again, I do not deserve to be at a shelter. I am fun-loving and outgoing, and shine when I’m around people I am comfortable with. Sometimes I am a bit slow to warm up to men, but given time I will come around. I like to romp and play and I think getting scratched and rubbed is the cat’s meow! Don’t be surprised if I fall over in the sheer joy of it all. Don’t stop though! Keep scratching…it feels so good!

I am tolerable of most dogs but would most likely prefer to be the one and only. I also prefer my children to be more mature in age, because I am a cattle dog, I have that herding trait about me, and it might be a little too much for the little ones. I am pretty strong on the leash, especially when I first get out, so I will need to have an owner who has a little bit of strength as well. A fenced in yard would be awesome, too; not necessary, but pretty awesome, because I love to romp and play.
