Save The Dates: Dewey Carnival, Community Day, Spirit Parade, Trick-or-Treat

When is the 2016 Dewey Fire Company Carnival? When is Trick-or-Treat in Hellertown? When is Hellertown-Lower Saucon Community Day?

You won’t have to ask these questions if you mark your calendars and save the dates for these important community events now that they have been announced.

• The 101st annual Dewey Fire Company Carnival will be held in Dimmick Park, Hellertown, from Tuesday, July 12 to Saturday, July 16, 2016 with fireworks on Friday, July 15. The carnival, which is presented by Goodtime Amusements of Hellertown, is open weeknights from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m.
• Hellertown-Lower Saucon Community Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Dimmick Park. The 15-year-old free annual event features local vendors, food, live entertainment, demonstrations, games, activities, a car show and more.
• The 2016 Saucon Valley Spirit Parade will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at 2 p.m.
• Trick-or-Treat in Hellertown borough will be held Sunday, Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. Note: Trick-or-Treat in Lower Saucon Township is traditionally held at the same time.

And don’t forget…free second Sunday “Music in the Park” concerts in Dimmick Park begin this Sunday, June 12! Concerts will also be held in July and August.
