Hello! My name is Oreo, so named because of my unique cookies and cream-colored coat. I am a big strong guy, but my manners are polite and I have a very independent personality. Don’t confuse my independence with wanting to be alone though, because I love being around people. Young, old, male, female…I just love everyone! I have nice house manners, too. I just recently had a two-day sleepover with one of our volunteers and she said I was amazing! I am neat and clean and respectful of property. I slept in bed with her and was a snuggle buddy. I don’t really like being caged, because I feel like I’m missing out on things, so it wouldn’t be unlikely for me to bark to get your attention in hopes that it’s my turn to get a walk when you see me in my kennel at the shelter. I bounce around a lot, too, but I’m very calm when I’m out in the real world. A fenced-in yard would be a huge plus for me because I enjoy romping and playing. Right now, we are thinking I should live in a home with no other animals, because so far I have mostly been dog selective and sometimes overly interested, although I redirect my attention fairly easily. I ride nicely in the car and I enjoy being out and about. I really am going to make a great companion for someone, so please come and meet me soon. I am staying at The Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Easton, Pa.
