Elena M. Wenger, 11, of Lower Saucon Township died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill.wenger She was born in Fountain Hill on Nov. 28, 2004 to Dale E. and Melinda J. (Beaky) Wenger. Elena loved books and was an avid reader. She was a talented artist who loved drawing and doing arts and crafts. She loved performing, especially with the Panther Players, in theater productions and in talent shows at school. She recently took up horseback riding. Elena finished the fifth grade at Saucon Valley Elementary School, Hellertown. She was also a member of the Saucon Valley Service Unit Girl Scout Troop, Hellertown. Elena embodied joy and energy in her life and touched all who knew her.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving parents; sister: Tess O. at home; paternal grandmother: Eva S. Beiler of Honey Brook; maternal grandparents: Gerald A. and Patricia M. (McHale) Beaky of Scotrun; and countless family and friends.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 345 Elmwood Lane, Riegelsville. The interment will conclude services at Springtown Cemetery, Springfield Township. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

CONTRIBUTIONS

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saucon Valley Performing Arts Association, care of the funeral home, 326 Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055.
