Lower Saucon Township Police say an Allentown man will be cited for reckless driving, after he was seen by a witness allegedly “riding a wheelie” in the 1200 block of Seidersville Road–near Rt. 378–before he was involved in an accident at about 8 a.m. Monday.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Brian Anthony Allen, of the 700 block of E. Tioga Street, was operating a blue Yamaha R1 eastbound on Seidersville Road when he lost control of his bike, “causing it to slide 105 feet, then overturning before crossing into oncoming traffic and striking a passing vehicle.”

Allen suffered an ankle injury in the accident, police said.
