Lower Saucon Township Police conducted an aggressive driving enforcement detail Wednesday between 6 and 10 a.m., which they said resulted in the issuance of six citations to motorists.

Lower Saucon Township Police conducted an aggressive driving enforcement detail Wednesday between 6 and 10 a.m., which they said resulted in the issuance of six citations to motorists.

According to a police news release, three motorists were cited for speeding, one was cited for driving with an expired inspection, one was cited for texting and driving, and one was cited for a red light violation.

Police said two faulty equipment warnings were also issued during the detail, during which a total of seven vehicles were stopped.

The township police’s aggressive driving enforcement initiative is funded by a grant.
