Emma H. Jenny, 92, formerly of Bethlehem Township, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 at Belle Haven Nursing Home, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Jenny (died April 2, 2014). Emma was born in Fountain Hill on March 28, 1924 to the late Fred and Mamie Herbold. She worked at the former Durkee’s Famous Foods, Bethlehem, for 30 years until retiring, and previously was a cook at Westgate Day Care, Bethlehem, and Precious People Day Care, Whitehall. Emma was a member of Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, Bethlehem, and was a past choir member.
SURVIVORS
Sons: Richard E. and his wife Beth of Macungie, Douglas W. and his wife Diane of Coopersburg; daughter-in-law: Donna Jenny of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son: Robert E. (died July 7, 2012) and several siblings.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Bethlehem Memorial Park, Bethlehem.
