Dorothy H. Fluck, 78, of Bethlehem Township, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus, Bethlehem Township. She was the wife of the late Walter S. Fluck, who died March 8, 2012. She was born in Bethlehem on May 4, 1938 to the late Charles and Theresa (Karba) Vargo. She worked at Magnetic Winding, Palmer Township, as a machine operator for over 60 years. She was past president of the IEU Local 123, Jenkinstown. Dorothy will be missed by her family, co-workers and especially her friend, Fred.
SURVIVORS
Children: Robert C. Vargo of Bethlehem, Jeffrey W. Fluck of Bethlehem, Glen S. (Desra) Fluck of Hellertown, Donna M. “Sis” (Howard) Ziegler of Bethlehem; sister: Christine Yurick of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Ryan M. Fluck, who died April 28, 2013; and a brother: Alfred Vargo.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
