Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Saturday that a Moore Township man was cited for a township ordinance violation after he allegedly blew a “large amount of grass clippings” into the 2100 block of Riverside Drive, Steel City, and didn’t clean up the clippings.

Police said a neighbor who lives near the property owned by Samy Azer, of the 3200 block of W. Walker Road, reported on the afternoon of Sept. 7 that Azer “consistently blows a large amount of grass clippings onto Riverside Drive and fails/refuses to remove the debris.”

“The cut vegetation does cause a hazard as it blocks storm drains and ultimately causes flooding in the area,” police added.
