Local residents grieving the loss of a loved one are invited to attend a new grief support group that is forming at a local church.
The support group will have its first meeting on Thursday, Oct. 13 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic church’s Convent House in Hellertown. The church is located at 1408 Easton Road.
The non-denominational group will meet each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for six weeks. There is no cost to attend and each meeting will last about an hour-and-a-half.
Although the group will be meeting in a religious setting, meetings won’t involve religious instruction. The goal of the group is to help anyone coping with loss to begin the healing process in a peace-centered, supportive environment.
