Friday night at halftime of the Saucon v. Wilson homecoming game, Madison Stump was crowned Saucon Valley’s 2016 Homecoming Queen, much to the delight of the friends, family and fans who were present.
The daughter of Chris and Jeanine Stump of Lower Saucon Township, Madison takes over for 2015 Queen Carli Ziegler, who was on hand to recognize the new Queen and officially hand over the honor. Carli was escorted on Friday night by 2015 Homecoming King and football great Evan Culver.
Madison, who is affectionately called “Mad-Dog,” by some family and friends was escorted by her younger brother C.J., who is a sophomore quarterback on the Panther football team. C.J. was obviously very happy for his sister when Maddie’s name was announced at halftime!
The new Queen, elected from a Court of six very lovely ladies, is a 100 goal scorer for Saucon’s lacrosse team, and also participates on the soccer team who are making a run at the 2016 Colonial League championship. In addition, Madison is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and MiniThon.
A Saucon Source Salute to Madison Stump as well as all others who were involved in the celebration. It was a wonderful night for Saucon Valley!
