Norman C. Mease, 79, of Hellertown, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 at Meadow Glen at Phoebe Richland Health Care, Richlandtown. He was the husband of Louise P. (Trauger) Mease. He was born in Lower Saucon Township on July 19, 1937 to the late George Mease and Mildred (Fluck) Mease. Norman worked for the Hellertown Borough Authority from April 16, 1961 until his retirement in 1999. He was a faithful member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley, where he served on its consistory.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his wife of 58 years; son: Marc J. (Geri) of Hellertown; siblings: Eugene E. (DeEtta) of Bethlehem, Alan R. (Onalee) of Oscala, Fla., Martha B. Sterling (Robert E.) of Bethlehem, Esther M. Nickerbacher (Randy) of Elkland, Ruthann M. Valente of Macungie; grandson: Ian Mease. He was predeceased by brothers: Stanley and Richard.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at Trinity UCC, 2240 Township Road, Pleasant Valley. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
