Man Took Baby Bottles off Store Shelf, Returned Them for Refund, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police want to identify a man they say took a box of empty baby bottles valued at $18.99 off a store shelf in Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, and then returned them at the store’s customer service desk for a refund.

Lower Saucon Township Police want to identify a man they say took a box of empty baby bottles valued at $18.99 off a store shelf in Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, and then returned them at the store’s customer service desk for a refund.

Police said the scam was perpetrated in the store at about 11 a.m. Thursday.

They posted a surveillance photo of the suspect on their Facebook page Thursday afternoon, and asked anyone who recognizes the man to call the department at 610-317-6110 and reference incident numberĀ 20170126M6266.

Lower Saucon Township Police say the man pictured in this surveillance still committed a fraudulent return scam in Giant Food Store Thursday.
