Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday that a driver who allegedly struck a house in the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike Feb. 26 was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

According to a news release, Daniel Parry, 41, of the 700 block of Spring Street, Bethlehem, allegedly hit the house at 12:41 a.m.

When officers arrived at the accident scene they said Parry was walking away, but the occupant of the home “was able to confirm (Parry) as being the driver of the Nissan Altima that hit his house.”

Police said Parry failed field sobriety tests and was determined to have a blood alcohol concentration of .22 percent, which is nearly three times the legal limit.

He will be charged with DUI and traffic offenses related to the accident, they said.
