A road resurfacing project that is scheduled to start Monday, April 3 will mean single-lane travel at times along sections of a major east-west Lower Saucon Township thoroughfare through at least the end of April.

According to a post Tuesday on the Lower Saucon Township Police Department’s Facebook page, the project will begin at 9 a.m. Monday with resurfacing on Friedensville Road from the Water Street Bridge/Hellertown line westward.

Crews will then proceed to Hickory Hill Road and Seidersville Road (which it turns into). Seidersville Road will be resurfaced to the Lehigh County line.

“There will be single lane conditions in the affected construction areas at times,” the post said. “It is estimated the project will be complete by the end of April.”

The roads are all state roads maintained by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation.
