Lower Saucon Township Police say they will be conducting a “border to border seat belt enforcement operation” Monday, May 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. as part of a larger Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement mobilization that’s ongoing through June 4.

“The Lower Saucon Township Police Department will partner with 315 municipal law enforcement agencies in Pennsylvania and 24 other states to send a ‘0’ tolerance message to motorists that driving or riding without a seat belt will result in a ticket, no matter the state,” a news release indicated.

As part of the initiative, PennDOT distributes federal enforcement funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to participating departments.
