Ferne M. Unangst, 91, formerly of Coleman Street, Bethlehem, died peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Calvert E. Unangst. Ferne was born in Hellertown on July 11, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Jacob Sherk and Lillian Renninger. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
SURVIVORS
Children: Dawn L. Seyfried of Bethlehem, the Rev. Edward A. Unangst and his wife Susan of Germansville; sister: Geraldine Kresh of Saylorsburg; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son: Dennis C. Unangst Sr.; grandson: Dennis C. Unangst Jr.; siblings: Joyce, Caroline and Aaron.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to attend a service on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. There will be no calling hours.
