Matthew F. ‘Stubbs’ Dronenburg, 37, of Steel City, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Fountain Hill on March 13, 1980.

Matthew F. ‘Stubbs’ Dronenburg, 37, of Steel City, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Fountain Hill on March 13, 1980 to Fred H. Dronenburg of Allentown and the late Shirley A. Dronenburg. Matt worked for 13 years along with his father for F.H. Dronenburg Installations and Services, Allentown, and previously at the Dewey Fire Co., Hellertown, as an EMT. He was a member of St. Luke’s Old Williams Lutheran Church, Hellertown, and volunteered at the Steel City Vol. Fire Company, Lower Saucon Township.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his father and his wife Monica R.; daughters: Amanda, Ashley both of Bath; sister: Jodi L. of Freemansburg; grandmother: Evelyn M. (Yeakel) Sesulka of Steel City; niece: Mya; nephews: Joseph and Jayden.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 6 p.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
