An Allentown woman has been cited for disorderly conduct after Lower Saucon Township Police say she allegedly caused a “road rage” incident on Easton Road Wednesday shortly before noon.

In a news release Thursday, police said Mikala Marie Holmes, 22, of the 1800 block of W. Turner Street, allegedly tailgated an eastbound male driver from Cherry Lane until he pulled over in the 2100 block of Easton Road in the hope that she would pass him.

Instead, police said, Holmes also stopped her black Toyota sedan, exited it–allegedly holding a two-foot piece of pipe–and began yelling at the man.

“Holmes left the scene prior to (police’s) arrival but the victim was able to obtain a good description and a license plate from the Toyota, which led to the identification of the offender,” police said.

Holmes was also cited for following too closely and driving without a valid driver’s license, they added.
