An Allentown man has been charged with felony theft of a motor vehicle and other charges after Lower Saucon Township Police say an investigation revealed that he allegedly took a woman’s car without her permission from the 3000 block of Scenic View Lane on the evening of July 22.
In a news release issued Monday, police said Emmanuel Cisco, 44, of the 400 block of Hamilton Street, took the car from the woman’s residence and was later found to be operating it in Allentown, where police impounded it.
At that time police said Cisco was arrested on “numerous unrelated charges.”
In Lower Saucon Township, according to police, he is now also charged with:
- Theft (3 counts) for allegedly stealing a credit card, a $100 gift card and medication
- Receiving Stolen Property (4 counts)
- Access Device Fraud (4 counts)
- Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Police said Cisco was arraigned Monday before District Judge Elizabeth Romig-Gainer and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing in his case is scheduled for Oct. 2 at 11:15 a.m.
