Raymond C. Weiand, 82, of Lower Saucon Township,, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Anita L. (Leith) Weiand. He was born in Quakertown on Sept. 14, 1935 to the late Mary (Macklin) and Clair I. Weiand. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during peacetime. Raymond was a clerk and stock person at Superfresh and A&P stores in Hellertown and Quakertown until his retirement. He was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife of 59 1/2 years; brother: Louis L. Weiand of Richland Center, Wisc. He was predeceased by his son: Bryan R., in 1997.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment with will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown with military honors to be accorded by the Edward H.
