The driver who was allegedly involved in an accident involving a telephone pole in the 1500 block of Main Street last month has been charged with DUI, Hellertown Police said in a news release Monday.
According to police, Ronald E. Siegfried, 49, of the 600 block of Pardee Street, Easton, was allegedly “under the influence of a combination of drugs” when the crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. Sept. 19.
Police said summary traffic violations and charges have been filed against Siegfried, although online court records have not yet been updated to outline the specific charges.
