An overnight accident at the Rt. 33 interchange on I-78 in Lower Saucon Township has temporarily closed part of the exit and caused a traffic backup.

The Rt. 33 southbound exit to I-78 eastbound was reportedly still closed shortly after 9 a.m., although the accident occurred around 4 a.m., according to a post by Lehigh Valley Breaking News.

The breaking news page reported that it was a single vehicle accident and that the driver of the tractor-trailer that rolled over on the ramp was “up and walking” following his extrication from the vehicle.
