A 49-year-old Bethlehem man is facing drug-related charges after police say he was found passed out and in possession of controlled substances at the Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, last November.

In a news release Monday, Lower Saucon Township Police said Marc Aaron Harris was “found unresponsive” at the store at 2:08 a.m. Nov. 11.

After being transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital for treatment, police said Harris was found to be in possession of 36 packets of heroin and five Xanax pills that were not prescribed to him.

Furthermore, police said laboratory tests determined that six of the heroin bags contained the pain medication fentanyl.

Harris is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police stated.
