A new hotel near Rt. 412 and the Sands casino complex will soon open. The four-story Candlewood Suites Bethlehem South at 1630 Spillman Drive is now accepting reservations for arrivals on or after Aug. 31, 2018.

The new Candlewood Suites Bethlehem South is located at 1630 Spillman Drive, along Rt. 412 near Lynn Avenue.

A new extended stay hotel near Rt. 412 and the Sands casino complex in South Bethlehem will open by August, according to information on its website.

The four-story Candlewood Suites Bethlehem South at 1630 Spillman Drive will cater primarily to corporate and business travelers. It is now accepting reservations for arrivals on or after Aug. 31, 2018.

According to the website, the hotel will feature an on-site fitness center, an outdoor gazebo grill, full-service housekeeping, on-site guest self-laundry facilities, free wifi, a “lending locker” that will allow guests to borrow everything from a blender to a board game and a “Candlewood Cupboard” where they can “stock up on a variety of breakfast items, beverages, snacks, frozen entrées and more, any time—all on the honor system.”

“We give guests everything they need to live, work and relax while they’re away from home,” the Candlewood Suites website states.

In addition to the casino complex, the hotel is located near Lehigh University, SteelStacks, Northampton Community College’s Fowler Family Southside Center, Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII and the I-78 interchange at Rt. 412 (Hellertown exit), which is a couple of miles away.
