There were many big plays in the Panthers Friday night fight against the Palmerton Blue Bombers. But, not many had as much importance as this week’s Panther Play of the Week!
With Saucon Valley clinging desperately to a 28-26 4th Quarter lead after giving up a long touchdown pass to Palmerton, it was time for a Panther to stand up and make a big play. Plays don’t get much bigger than this. Kelvin Gallard, from his outside linebacker position at the bottom of the screen, knifes into the Blue Bomber backfield and absolutely destroys the Palmerton quarterback who was looking to cash in on a 2-point conversion that would have tied the game. Gallard’s heroics shifted the momentum back in favor of the Panthers.
