Everyone is invited to come out to meet the volunteer firefighters of Dewey Fire Co. No. 1 in Hellertown at their annual Fall Open House on Tuesday. Oct. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the station at 502 Durham Street.
Kids can also test their skills with Dewey’s fire hose simulator, explore the firetrucks and most of all, have fun! There will be activities and information available for all ages at this free, family-friendly event.
Silver, the Bethlehem Police Department’s Arson Investigation K9, and human partner Detective Doug Nothstein, will be at the open house for a demonstration and to speak about the Arson K9 program.
Hot dogs will be fresh off the grill!
