Police Seek Owner of Money Pouch Found Near Thrift Store

Lower Saucon Township Police are seeking the owner of a money pouch that was found last week near the American Family thrift store at 1804 Leithsville Road, near the Hellertown borough line.

Lower Saucon Township Police are seeking the owner of a money pouch that was found last week near the American Family thrift store at 1804 Leithsville Road, near the Hellertown borough line.

In a Facebook post Friday afternoon police said the pouch was found and turned in by a resident.

In an email Sunday they added that the pouch contains “a large sum.”

The owner of the pouch is asked to contact the department and describe it, along with its contents, in order to claim it.
