Serious Accident Reported at Rt. 378, Seidersville Road

Police, fire and ambulance crews responded to a serious accident involving a car and a pickup truck at Seidersville Road and Rt. 378 in Lower Saucon Township late Saturday afternoon.

Police, fire and ambulance crews responded to a serious accident involving a car and a pickup truck at Seidersville Road and Rt. 378 in Lower Saucon Township late Saturday afternoon.

The car was heavily damaged and appeared to be partially crushed.

It was reported that someone or possibly multiple individuals were trapped in at least one of the vehicles for a time, although the extent of the injuries suffered by the parties involved in the wreck is currently unknown, along with the cause.

Fire police were detouring Rt. 378 and Seidersville Road traffic around the crash scene, resulting in significant backups on some nearby local roads, although shortly before 6 p.m. the scene was cleared and traffic began to flow normally again through the area.
