Man Accused of Stealing $17,000 from Richlandtown 7-Eleven

A Richlandtown man is accused of stealing $17,000 from the 7-Eleven convenience store at 523 Richlandtown Pike in Richland Township over a period of about a year, township police said Wednesday.

A Richlandtown man is accused of stealing $17,000 from the 7-Eleven convenience store at 523 Richlandtown Pike in Richland Township over a period of about a year, township police said Wednesday.

According to a post published on the department’s Crimewatch website, Joshua Alicea, 27, is charged with one felony count of theft.

Court records indicate that the charge is a third-degree felony and list the alleged offense date as Nov. 29, 2018.

Neither the police statement nor court records indicate whether or not Alicea was an employee of the store at the time of the alleged theft.

According to court records, Alicea is free on $5,000 unsecured bail following his preliminary arraignment, which was held Dec. 6 before District Judge Lisa Gaier.

A preliminary hearing for Alicea is scheduled for Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. before Judge Gaier in the township.
