The Church View Road Bridge is located about 600 feet west of the intersection of Limeport Pike and Beverly Hills Road in Lower Milford Township, Lehigh County.
PennDOT said Friday that motorists should expect delays on Church View Road between Limeport Pike and Hoffman Lane in Lower Milford Township between Monday, April 15 and Friday, April 19.
The delays will result from bridge repairs that will be taking place between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be lane restrictions, and motorists should use caution driving through the work zone, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT bridge data from July 2018, the Church View Road bridge is a 1938 steel I-beam bridge that is 17 feet long and spans a tributary of the Saucon Creek.
The bridge has a sufficiency rating of 66.6 and is classified as being in “fair” condition according to PennDOT’s structural deficiency scale, according to the State Bridges Listing.
