The first ever Southern Lehigh Area Restaurant Week is April 28-May 4, and the participating eateries hope you’ll have worked up an appetite. Once you see their special menus, it might be hard not to.
The week-long event has been planned to help Coopersburg, Upper Saucon and Lower Milford Township residents and visitors to the area to discover (or rediscover) the unique dining options the Southern Lehigh area has to offer.
Participating restaurants are offering fixed price or “prix fixe” breakfast, lunch and/or dinner options to satisfy a wide range of palates and budgets.
The seven eateries that are participating are Diana’s Café, Ecco Domani, Ye Olde Spring Valley Tavern, Carlo’s Pizza, Cascade at Durham Springs, GOL Steakhouse and Coopersburg Diner.
“I grew up in the Southern Lehigh area and truly love this community,” said Coopersburg Diner owner Tom Gourzis. “We always enjoy supporting local initiatives, so there was no doubt in my mind that we needed to be a part of the Southern Lehigh Chamber’s first ever restaurant week. We feel by participating in this event, we are able to give back to our local customers but also welcome new faces.”
“Whether you plan on exploring a new restaurant or visiting a favorite, this week-long event offers residents and visitors across the Lehigh Valley a fantastic way to explore so many delectable flavors,” said Jessica O’Donnell, Executive Vice President of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. “It is a great opportunity to help boost restaurant sales during a slower time of the year, as well as a great way for diners to get a taste of what eateries in the area are cooking up.”
