Springfield Police Investigating Two Recent Burglaries

Springfield Township Police said Monday that they’re investigating two residential burglaries that took place on the afternoon of Thursday, June 13.

Springfield Township Police said Monday that they’re investigating two residential burglaries that took place on the afternoon of Thursday, June 13.

Police said that multiple pieces of jewelry as well as U.S. currency were stolen from a home in the 2400 block of Slifer Valley Road.

Nothing was stolen from a home in the 800 block of Passer Road, where police said it’s believed a burglar alarm “may have scared the burglar(s) off.”

Springfield Township Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or may have information about the burglaries to contact the department at 610-982-5411 or submit a tip via their Crimewatch website.
