The following is an announcement from the Borough of Hellertown:
There will be many pieces of fire equipment and vehicles from throughout the area in the 300 block of Main Street in Hellertown borough this Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 as part of a funeral for a firefighter.
‘No Parking’ signs will be posted by the Hellertown Police on Main Street, Magnolia Road and Front Street before the viewing/service begin at Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown, at 2 p.m.
The borough asks for residents’ patience, respect and cooperation during this period of time. Motorists should expect possible delays on Rt. 412 due to the added congestion and consider utilizing alternate routes Saturday afternoon. If traveling on Main Street in Hellertown they are asked to use extra caution, particularly in the 300 block, due to the number of mourners who are expected to be paying their respects.
