Saucon Valley in Search of New Head Swim Coach Before Season Begins

Saucon Valley High School recently lost its boys and girls varsity swim coach, and with a new season set to begin Nov. 18 supporters of the program say it is urgent that a new head coach is found as soon as possible.

Things aren’t exactly going swimmingly for the Saucon Valley High School swim program at the moment.

The school recently lost its boys and girls varsity swim coach, according to sources, and with a new season set to begin Nov. 18 supporters of the program say it is urgent that a new head coach is found as soon as possible.

The Panthers’ assistant coach is Ed Kolosky, who has long coached swimming at Saucon Valley. Kolosky also manages the Community Swim Program at the high school and in the summer is manager of the Hellertown Pool.

Anyone interested in the coaching position should send a letter of interest, their resume and all of their current clearances to Athletic Director Robert Frey, Saucon Valley High School, 2100 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown, PA 18055.

According to a post on the school district website’s employment page, the salary the new coach is paid will be commensurate with his or her teaching contract (if applicable).
