Patricia A. (Smodish) Krycia (1941 – 2024)
Patricia A. (Smodish) Krycia, 82, of Hellertown, went home to her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at her residence.
She was the wife of the late John A. Krycia. Pat was born in Bethlehem on July 22, 1941 to the late Ernest and Mary (Kosik) Smodish. Pat was a sewing machine operator at the former Zawick Manufacturing for 20 years. She was a member of Beth El Gibor Messianic Synagogue, Bethlehem. She was very devoted to God and had a huge heart for the Jewish people. Pat enjoyed flying alongside her husband. She enjoyed her family, friends and pets. Pat found comfort sitting on the porch enjoying God’s gifts.
SURVIVORS
Patricia is survived by her children: Michael J. (Jolene) of Gladstone, Mich., Susan K. (Michael S.) Leraris of Nazareth; brother: Robert of Bethlehem; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings: Ernest R., Mary Ann Kellow.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by the service at 1 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
