Luis A. Alcala Jr., 81, of Bethlehem, a beloved father and husband, died Dec. 5, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.
Luis A. Alcala Jr. (1943 – 2024)
Luis A. Alcala Jr., 81, of Bethlehem, a beloved father and husband, died Dec. 5, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Petra (Nazario) Alcala. Luis was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on June 7, 1943 to the late Luis and Maria (Mercado) Alcala. Luis served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Vice President at Emigrant Bank, New York. He enjoyed music and dancing.
SURVIVORS
He is survived by five children: Lisa Marie Campbell (Sean) of Bethlehem, Pa., Kenneth (Amabelle) Alcala of Brooklyn, N.Y., Christopher Alcala of Bronx, N.Y., Luis Daniel Alcala of Brooklyn, N.Y., Sara (Joshua) Yale of Tunkhannock, Pa.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
