Louis Kulscher Jr., 78, of Douglassville (Obituary Brought to You by Heintzelman Funeral Home)

Louis Kulscher Jr., 78, of Douglassville, Pa., died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025. He was born Sept. 2, 1946 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill to Emma (Wesemann) Metzger and Louis Kulscher. He had been the husband of Meda Maron since February 2018. He was a member of the New Ridge Fellowship Church of Gilbertsville. Lou worked for Quaker State Vending, DSC Logistics and in retirement was a school bus driver. He drove school bus for Saucon Valley and Spring-Ford school districts. Lou enjoyed golf, traveling, watching his grandchildren play sports and going to breakfast with his friends. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife; sisters: Mary Anne Bender of Ashburn, Va., and JoAnne Kichline of Bethlehem, Pa.; children: Wendi Hurda of Hellertown, Wade (Rachel Swords) of Philadelphia; grandchildren: Shea McGlone, Ian Csicsek and Mildred Swords; great-grandchildren: Bradley, Eric and Jason. He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife Susan (Fulmer), mother to Wendi and Wade.

SERVICES

The family will hold a private memorial service.
