Ruth A. Schaffer (1927 – 2025)
Ruth A. Schaffer, 97, of Lower Saucon Township, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Alexander Mientus. Ruth was born in Northampton on Oct. 24, 1927 to the late James and Martine (Greismer) Hartman. She was a graduate of Northampton High School. Ruth worked in the textile industry for many years.
SURVIVORS
Ruth is survived by her loving daughter: Susan and her husband Anthony Bauer; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
