Paving to Cause Delays on I-78

An overnight paving project will result in lane restrictions that are expected to cause eastbound and westbound delays on I-78 in Lower Saucon Township next week, PennDOT officials said Thursday.

According to a news release, a PennDOT contractor will be paving the highway crossovers at the bridges over Easton Road, which is located between Exit 67 (Rt. 412) and Exit 71 (Rt. 33).

The work is scheduled to be performed between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting Sunday night. It is expected to be completed on Saturday, April 12.

PennDOT advised motorists to expect delays and use caution if they are driving through the work zone.
