Man Accused of Deliberately Driving Into Other Vehicle

An 18-year-old man is facing charges of Felony 1 aggravated assault, Misdemeanor 1 stalking, Misdemeanor 2 reckless endangerment, Misdemeanor 3 harassment and summary reckless driving after police say he deliberately drove a vehicle into another vehicle in the 200 block of Kichline Avenue in Hellertown borough last month.

According to a Hellertown Police Department news release, on the evening of March 31 Tanner Michael Hoff of the 1200 block of Elm Street, Easton, “drove into the (alleged) victim’s vehicle, backed up and drove into the vehicle again four more times.”

Police said Hoff “then exited the vehicle and harassed the (alleged) victims, causing fear and distress.”

The news release said a police investigation revealed that Hoff had driven around the block “several times throughout the week” and had done so just prior to the alleged incident on March 31.
