Full Summer of Fun Awaits at SOLECO Pool

If warm weather the area has recently experienced has had you dreaming of summer days lounging next to or relaxing in the pool, you won’t have to wait long for that dream to become a reality. And if you don’t have a pool of your own, a great place to enjoy the 2025 summer swim season is the Southern Lehigh Community (SOLECO) Pool in Coopersburg.

Conveniently located just off Rt. 309 at 3900 Jacoby Road, Coopersburg, next to Southern Lehigh Living Memorial Park, the pool is managed by River Crossing YMCA and will be open Saturday, May 24 through Monday, Sept. 1 from 12 to 8 p.m. daily.

SOLECO Pool amenities include a lap pool, a recreational pool, a waterslide, outdoor picnic tables, locker rooms and a snack bar. Various programs are available for all ages, along with private and group swim lessons for youth ages 3-12. The pool is also home to the SOLECO Stingrays swim team, which provides opportunities for competitive swimming for youth and teens. 

Options within several different membership categories are available, including:

• SOLECO Summer Swim Membership, which offers standalone usage of the pool without a River Crossing YMCA membership
• River Crossing YMCA Summer Membership Upgrade, which allows current River Crossing YMCA members to enjoy full access to the SOLECO Pool (available to family, adult and active older adult members only)
• Guest & Twilight Access Rates, which include drop-in day pass, family day pass and other options

The SOLECO Pool is also available to rent for birthdays and other gatherings.

Need help registering or want a tour of the pool? Y staff will be at SOLECO pool the following days to assist future guests:

• Saturday, May 17: 12-3 p.m.
• Monday, May 19: 4:30-7 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 20: 4:30-7 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 21: 4:30-7 p.m.
• Thursday, May 22: 4:30-7 p.m.
