Police Respond to Crash on Rt. 378 in Lower Saucon

Police officers, volunteer firefighters and EMTs were on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident at Rt. 378 and Seidersville Road in Lower Saucon Township shortly after 6 p.m. Monday.
The crash appeared to involve two vehicles, one of which was partially embedded in a guide rail at the intersection’s southwest corner.
A Dewey EMS ambulance was on the scene, along with Lower Saucon Fire Rescue, but it was unclear if there were any injuries.
Traffic was moving through the intersection, however northbound traffic on Rt. 378 was reduced to one lane approaching Seidersville Road, where a fire police officer was directing traffic.
Traffic appeared to be lighter than normal, due to the Memorial Day holiday.
Motorists in the area should use caution or seek alternate routes while restrictions remain in place.
